Swedish Ninja was founded by Maria Gustavsson. There is a contrast as in how to fit the name of the company with the person you meet that is as striking as the contrasts in Maria´s design.

– I want to design things to fall in love with. I think function and aesthetic belong together. A well designed product is strong in all aspects.

I grew up in an old farm on the countryside with lots of old furniture and stuff around. I think that is what got me on the track. I used to bring home things I found in the old barns to my room to rebuild them so I could use them myself.

Function and design belong together and is put together by the technical process of developing a product. The more I know about the technique the better I can operate the process.
